I love Tom, but not the gray/white hair. I want to see him with color in his hair which takes me back through the years when he first started. He has a great voice and is in tip-top shape. Now he needs to color his hair- it takes many years off his life and restores his sex appeal...gray is not sexy...AMEN!

LOVE TO YOU FROM EMMA LOU...

We were there in Madison Square Garden over 30 years ago and we were at the Meyerson in Dallas last week. The voice seemed to get better and deeper with age. We've never seem so many panties "launched" on stage at one time. He's still got "IT". It was a wonderful evening for all. Loved the new songs and the old

I was there...it was almost undescrible! Tom's voice is as good as it ever was if not better! Tom let a proud dad lift his little girl up on the edge of the stage for a picture with him...it was such a sweet thing to do...the crowd loved it!
What a fabulous entertainer he is. Hope to see him in Vegas in the summer!

And here is the rest of the story...

One day I was at my sister Valerie's house in McKinney TX visiting. It was time for me to return home and she said, "Ok. Say hello to Tom Jones for me." I said, "Tom Jones?" (Sorry Tom.) Val said, "Yeah." I said, "Who is Tom Jones?" Val said, "Are you kidding me? There isn't a person on the face of this earth who doesn't know who Tom Jones is." I said, "Well I don't know who he is."

I kinda giggled and thought who the heck is this Tom Jones and why does she think he looks like my husband Jimmy? Lol. So I went home and later on in the evening I googled Tom Jones. Did I recognize him? No. But I sure did his songs. And I thought to myself, Oooooh! That's Tom Jones! Ha. Why she thinks he looks like my 62 year old husband I'll never know. Ha ha ha.

Last year, If I can remember correctly, I was looking for tickets for a Tom Jones concert after many many many karaoke nights of solely Tom Jones songs after the enlightenment. Fun! When I finally found tickets, I had learned that Tom had just left town. I figured we'd never get to see him, as concerts where posted only for MGM for the longest time.

As time went by I searched every now and then Tom's concert times to see if he'd ever be coming back to Dallas, TX. Finally! I saw that Tom Jones was coming to Dallas for one night! I couldn't believe it.

My sweet sweet husband, listening to me keraoke Tom Jones into the wee hours of the morning, after everyone else left the gathering, purchased us tickets to see him. I could not believe it. I was so happy he was going to take me. What a man! Lol. I could not believe Tom Jones was back in Dallas TX and we were getting to go.

Now for reviews. Tom has an incredible voice obviously, but even at 69 years old. I was surprised that he sounded even BETTER live! Better than any cd you go round and round with. He was fantastic! So if you are a fan...I recommend you see this man live. He is quite entertaining, has a great sense of humor and he rocked the house. Covering oldies (my favorite even at 36 yrs. of age), Country - yes country, blues and others. You have got to see him live. Better than his recordings for sure and very unusual. Most concerts I've been to I've felt that performers did not sound as well as their recording. I cannot say that for this man. My husband and I both were quite impressed with how strong his voice was and how great he sounded.

His band was awesome! Totally awesome. They were all great. The guitarist was amazing! Absolutely amazing! Great tunes. Thank you! Ofcourse the show would not be complete without the whole band. They were very humble and greatful which is so nice to see today. As I don't think you see it very often. Especially from celebrities.

There was a precious little girl in the front row seating and Tom took a picture with her during the performance which we thought was so nice.

Now for the funny...I make natural goat's milk soaps. And since we were going to Tom's concert my brother Bob recommended that I bring him some of our famous soap. So I wrapped a nice package up for Tom and his wife to try. Once we were there...even though woman were throwing their usual panties at him, I felt very shy about sharing my gift. So my awesome fearless husband brought it up to the stage for me. A member of the band actually picked it up to save for them later on. My husband is so wonderful. Who else would do that for their wife? Lol. I don't know any.

My husband is 62 and I am 36 and we have 2 beautiful children. Needless to say Tom...we love your new song "Sugar Daddy." Ha ha ha. And many others.

One thing we missed, but you can't have it all...we were wishing for him to sing "The Reason." He sings it better than the original band for sure. But we didn't get to hear that. Doesn't matter...the show was so great we weren't disappointed a bit.

Thanks Tom Jones and Band! We love you and can't wait until you return to Dallas! So glad you choose such a lovely building to host in also.

Blessings to all!
Mary for Soap-Mart

P.s. If I was the only one on the face of the planet (like my sister said) that didn't know you. We know you now. Thanks Val! Never would've seen him in concert if it weren't for you! Ha ha ha.
