Wow, is there anything this voice can’t do! Truly a God given talent. I’ve been a fan since the age of six. Thanks Tom for all that wonderful music on the ‘This Is Tom Jones’ shows in the 60′s – mind blowing renditions! Forty years later Tom still sounds fantastic. He excels in every genre, leaving others sounding like amateurs. He feels the song from some place deep within and is blessed with a voice that can project what he’s feeling. He’s also a talented song writer, loved HIS track on the Reload album. Also loved the more recent ‘We’ve Got Love’ and ‘If He Should Ever Leave You’ tracks which had that lovely 60′s vibe with a contemporary twist to them.’Did Trouble Me’ just cranks it up another notch yet again. Brilliant. And to think some accountant/vice president at the Recording company almost prevented us from experiencing this great track. It’s scary how people can become vice presidents of a recording company when they clearly don’t know much about music. Thankfully the creative side know what they’re doing.
Just saw Tom’s performance of Burning Hell on the BBC Show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. I was blown away. Came to this website and loved Did Trouble Me song and video. Tom you are brilliant. Can’t wait to get this CD.
I live in Las Vegas and have seen Tom many times from the front row – his voice has never sounded better and it’s a testament to his incredible talent that he’s still at the very top of his game. Thanks for a new album and to many many more years of your music. -Bryan
Sounds and looks great, can’ wait to get my hands on the new album, I’m pretty sure it will be Tom’s best for years if not even the best of all time… This song reminds me of Johnny Cash’s Hurt (in a good way )
I love Tom’s singing, there is nothing he has ever sang these past decades that he ever sounded less than perfect. It’s the songs I have trouble with. His “24 Hours” CD started out with “I’m Alive” and then all the songs were so depressing!! I still wanna hear love ballards. Could Tom do a CD like Rod Stewart’ Great American Songbook CDs?? It worked for Rod, it sure could work for Tom.
The past 2 albums have contained songs with a much greater depth than was delivered previously, and, from what I’ve heard so far, this album seems to continue that.
Such a distinguished sounding voice that can deliver such emotion deserves songs that carry a serious message. Tom’s voice has matured and so has his choice of material. I can’t wait for this album to be released.
This song and video is so interesting to hear and watch. Tom Jones voice is just getting an even more distinguished sound, it’s so cutting edge, I’m really looking forward to this CD. That voice was made to sing these songs, he delivers such a dynamic blues, rock and country mix. It’s the most Unusual Voice in Show Business, I can’t think of a single song that Tom could not perform. Did Trouble Me is a fantastic track, The Voice, The Musc and The Drum Beat, You Just Feel It.
Excellent Video and Track Tom, fantastic work.
OMG….I LOVE this new CD. I’ve been a fan for years…just saw him last month at Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. You still have it Tom. This song is fabulous.
