Isle of Wight Festival Tomorrow – Sky Arts Coverage

June 10th, 2011 | By TomJones

TIoW2011_LOGORINGmainom will be performing on The Big Top Stage tomorrow night at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Sky Arts are covering the event so if you have Sky TV you will be able to watch full coverage of the festival.

Highlights of Tom’s performance will be shown on the Live show on the Sky Arts Channel on Saturday night and if you are lucky enough to have a 3D Television, you can catch it on Sky 3D.

The Isle of Wight Festival is the first festival to be broadcast in 3D, so if you are able to watch please let us know how Tom was 3 dimensional!

We will also be posting clips of the performance after the festival has aired for everyone else or for those who just want to watch again!

Hello TOM and his LOYAL FANS [like myself] I would just like to say how dissapointed I was with SKY ARTS coverage @ THE ISLE of WIGHT FESTIVAL espically of our TOM.I have Virgin media & can get SKY ARTS,I watched it for 2 whole hours but they only showed our TOM singing 2 songs. He sang the Spanish version of “DELILAH” & “MAMA TOLD ME NOT TO COME”. I know that he sang alot more than was shown as I’ve seen clips on YOU TUBE. Well as you can imagine I was very dissapointed as I was looking forward to seeing TOM sing LIVE espically with having to miss seeing him in CONCERT LIVE @ TATTON PARK in JULY this YEAR owing to ill health. Not blaming you TOM LOVE.YOUR LOYAL FAN JENNIFER XXXXX

I knew Tom Jones ( he was Tommy Woodward then) back in the early 60s where we both grew up in Pontypridd. The last time I met him was when he had his first record released (Chills & Fever) he was just coming out of ” Gamlins” music shop in City rd Cardiff as I was going in, We talked a while about band stuff and how the disc was selling and then went our ways, I hav’nt met him since,he moved to the States I moved to I.o.W. but I have been to a couple of his concerts. Would be great to meet him again,I wonder whether he would still remember me?
