Reggae “Pussycat”! What a hoot! I like raggae music, & I like Bob Marley. But I LOVE Tom! There is no one like him! He has brought me so much joy for so many years. I truly hope he knows how much he means to so many. Tom outshown everyone on “Idol”. It was a great tribute to him!
Anyone can cover Tom Jones, but then it’s just a cover,
but when Tom sings other peoples songs he always makes
it at least as well as the original. I am surprised
how many of those Tom Jones songs are not the first versions,
but still he makes them as if they were his own.
No one, I mean no one, can sing any of Tom’s songs as well as he sings them himself. Tom even sings other artist’s songs better than they do. Tom’s the absolute best!!!
Like the web address reads, it’s Bob Marley and The Wailers. Of course there’s only one person that can really sing the song, right?
What a terrible insult to a good song! Only Sir Tom should ever sing this song.
I disagree with you. Just because you don’t like the version doesn’t mean that it isn’t good. You have to look at the artist and the scene that they played in. Marley was sharing a song that he liked in a manner that his listeners would appreciate. Heck, he may have also learned it to play for the tourists before his career took off. It’s a possibility at any rate. Be a little more open minded my friend.

A most unusual arrangement. I do not know who it is. However, Tom did the best arrangement. Wish he would come to Vegas or the DC/Northern Virginia area.

That is the Bob Marley, mon. I thought it sounds like a mix between Frankie Avalon, and Al Martino on a bender. This is painful to listen to.

I’m 47 years old, and have been listening to Tom Jones’s music for as long as I can remember. I still enjoy every second it and NEVER get tired. It’s not unusual to love something this long!
