Surprise Guest on American Idol Tonight… Can You Guess Who It Is?!

The list of performers of tonight’s (Wednesday) American Idol finale has been leaked, and it includes some very big names.
We at TomJones.com have been desperate to let all the fans know that Tom will be performing tonight, but went with the shows protocol.
However, now that it has been leaked we are thrilled to announce Tom as one of the special guests on tonight’s live final!
Gladys Knight, Lil’ Jon, Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood are also on the schedule; along with Lady Gaga, Bono and The Edge, and Jack Black, who have been rumored all week.
The two-hour season finale of American Idol starts tonight at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.

When the medley of songs started, I jumped up and shouted Tom’s gonna be on there ! He’s gonna sing ! A great suprise, but he sang the rest under the table. It was great to see him on tv here in the states. I wish he still had a tv show here. Saw him in Knoxville, Tn at the TN Theater he was terrific as usual, I see him when he comes to Knox. or close by. His voice is still awesome and rich. He’s still sexy, charming and this time he talked more and he was funny and charismatic. The Tn Theater was made for a voice like Tom’s to fill it with richness. Hope to see you again Tom, in Knoxville & Nashville, after all you said it great. In Tenn. it’s about the music and we love the music and “The Voice” of Sir Tom Jones. See ya next year if not before Love. Take care of yourself friend, your friends & fans in Knoxville, Tennessee await your return and Love you dearly.
There is no voice to compare with Tom Jones. Tom Jones is a class act. There is no performer sexier than Tom Jones!!! His appearance put American Idol over the top in my book. Can’t wait to see him in person again. Please come back to Minnesota – we looooooooooooove you!!!!!!!
Show stopper of the evening on American Idol – Sir Tom Jones. Total grace, amazing voice, notes to perfection, elegant and stylish ,yet THE VOICE always is evergreen in its quality . Sir Tom Jones deserved the standing ovation and the accolades from the audience. There is no voice that can come anywhere close to “THE VOICE” and that belongs only to Sir Tom Jones. Thanks
TOM was great on American Idol last night. He outshined all of the Boys in sound and action. His VOICE is as stronger than anyone there. He is a showman. Love him………….
I was thrilled to see our Tom on Idol!!!!
I have alway’s said that he should be a mentor or a Judge on that show. It only make’s sense to have the best voice on a show that is looking for a singer.
On a side note, my husband and I wanted to spend our 30 wedding anniversary in Vegas and see our Tom again. Sadly, it look’s like he is not playing Vegas this year at all. Why Sir Tom, why???

I did not know that Tom Jones would be one of the special guests on the finale…but as soon as the guys sang KISS and then started in on a medley of Tom Jones hits both my sister and I looked at each other and said (rather screamed in delight) Tom must be coming on to sing with them! And then they announced “This is Tom Jones”! WOW!!! What a treat for us as he has been our favorite singer since the early 70′s!
American Idol was fabulous this season with such diversified God-given gifts of talent to enjoy! My three favorite contestants were Casey, James and Scotty so am very happy that Scotty won!

I was watching and loved seeing Sir Tom. He sounded like maybe he was having a tough time singing, hope everything is ok. Miss him in Las Vegas – need him back! Always #1 to me!
It was great to see Tom Jones on t.v. it has been to long not seeing him, all the fans on Long Island hope to see him soon, Maybe, Westbury or Atlantic City . He looked very good and sounded great, It was a nice surprise.
It was a total surprise to me! Once they started singing “Kiss” I had a feeling something was up. As they continued to perform his songs I kept thinking “where is Tom?” And then there he was! So great to hear young people honor him by singing those tunes. And how wonderful to see him perform in front of millions! My husband and I saw him in concert last month in Knoxville TN and he sang for 2 solid hours.My first time seeing him and it was a thrill.
