I can’t believe I missed your Knoxville show! I have loved you for 40 years! My parents would find me asleep behind the couch every week having snuck back into the den to see & hear your show! Your voice melts my butter! Big love from a life long fan!
And PS…Tom Jones is one of the most dedicated, passionate, hard-working and hard-core artists in existence! If he had to miss a show he had no option so get up off him Madeline!
I can’t believe true fan would hold it against Tom for being ill. I missed 2 chances to see him too, got refunds but i was so disapointed but nobody can help being sick. I took solice in knowing Tom’s love of singing for us and his work ethic. I’m sure he was disapointed not being well enough to sing, and he would never let his fans down if he could help it. I’d rather him rest his voice than ruin it trying to sing against Dr.s orders!! Come on lady really ? Next time your sick and fill like crap to the point you cant stand it maybe you’ll rethink your selfishness, or are you trying to get free ticketts or something out of Tom ? You must not be to true a fan, to make it all about you.
Just noticed this posting. In the photo in the Ryman, front row center stage in a yellow top is my wife..I was off buying a poster at the time. We also traveled from Texas for this show…and it was fantastic! Sir Tom is just so great! I am still hoping he will make a Vegas appearance later in the year as I want to go to Vegas but will not go unless Sir Tom is there.

Great pics. I traveled from Chicago to Clearwater to see you. Totally worth it- you were awesome. Hoping to get to see you again soon.
Great Pics Tom… Hope you had a wonderful time… I know the fans did at your show!!! Love you, Miss you, RosePA
I was huge fan of Tom Jones since I was 16 and now 57 but I went to see Tom Jones at Casino Rama and he walked off the stage. Tom Jones did say he was ill and that if he carried on it would ruin his voice. I understand if he was ill Tom Jones should not have tried to preform and had reschuled this date for another time.
Since than I will not listen to any of Tom Jones music I was so disappointed since it was a Mother Days gift to me knowing how much I was a fan of Tom Jones to see him at Casnio Rama.
Fan that was disappointed in Tom Jones.
Our money was returned but still it was the disappoint that I had looked forward to seeing Tom Jones sing.
That is a worry. I know when the band was dismantling in Last Vegas and he had been sick. He did talk about it briefly, and problems with his vocals chords. I bet it is continuing. I heard the raspy sound that he has not had before….the other night on Idol…but hey, at 70…he can still sing but not as easily ….I know you were so dissapointed…I would have been too.
We can only hope that this is something that he can get help with, and if it is a permanent situation, we have our memories and pray for his recovery….He has entertained us for all these years….he is really being missed in the States and not doing much anymore. We wish him the best.
cmon lady at age 57 you should be a bit more understanding! are you so selfish you cant understand he was sick and didnt want to ruin his voice? rude of you to post this nonsense on his website. love you Tom hope you are near Ohio sometime so ?i can see you in person!
Fun! Be safe, brothers and sisters! I surely do enjoy your music! XXO
It’s indeed a better day when Tom Jones is in Town xxx Penelope
