Despite the first single not making an impact on the charts, a second single, ‘It’s Not Unusual’ is released. The BBC refuses to play it, but offshore pirate station Radio Caroline picks it up. On March 1st the single reaches number one in the charts.

I’ve been a fan since the day “It’s Not Unusual” first played on American radio. I’ve seen him in Vegas several times. I’ll make the trip to Dallas Sunday for his concert there. He’s the best there ever was or ever will be. WELCOME TO DALLAS SIR TOM!
