You performed one of my favorite songs, “My Yiddishe Mama”, in a beautiful Duet with the very gifted voice of John Farnham that I found on You Tube. My wife and I were moved to tears. I also heard a recording of that song on You Tube perform, “My Yiddishe Mama” a solo live performance some 30 years ago unfortunately the sound quality did not have the superior recording sound quality that your duet with John Farnham had. We would love for you to record that famous song again solo and if possible perform it live in concert when you come to Los Angeles,New York,Las Vegas maybe even Israel with thier National Anthem “Hatikvah”.
You mentioned that your father taught you the song My Yiddishs Mama. How did that happen I know that you grew up in Whales, how did your father know about Yiddish/Jewish Music. There are so many beautiful Yiddish, Jewish and Israeli Songs that you may love and want to record and perform in concert. My wife and I saw you at the Las Vegas Hilton 25 years ago we got to sit in the front row and you leaned over and kissed her she hasn’t stop talking about it since. Driving car pool years ago with my girls to school several times a week was always fun they always wanted to listen and sing along to your famous song, “Whats New Pussy Cat”.
Sir Tom you have given the world so much beautiful music to make our days that much richer with reflection,joy, emotion and to keep on rocking.
