Hosts the First Annual MTV Europe Awards in Berlin at Brandenburg Gate. He also co-hosts the American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Tom appears at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival to a rave reception.

ITV and VH-1 broadcast Tom's 6-part special 'Tom Jones: The Right Time' looking at the crossover of musical styles in pop.

Tom appears as himself on the hit TV show 'The Simpsons'
1991 - Old Friends
Releases the album 'Carrying a Torch' featuring collaborations with old friend Van Morrison.
1988 - A Change of direction
Collaborates with classic avant-garde techno group ‘Art of Noise’ on Prince’s song 'Kiss', a big success on both sides of the Atlantic. The single wins the MTV Breakthrough Video Award, smashing the demographic barrier.
1987 - Back on Top
'A Boy From Nowhere' is released, the huge success of this beautiful single puts Tom back on top in Britain. The re-release of the classic 'It’s Not Unusual' is also a chart topper.
1986 - A Sad Loss
Gordon Mills dies suddenly. "He was my manager and my closest friend" says Tom in a eulogy, "I owe him everything." Mark becomes his personal manager.
1975 - T Jones & Son
Mark joins his father on the road as his lighting director and personal assistant.
1974 - A New Home
Tom moves his family and residence to America, buying Dean Martin's house, a beautiful, classic Tudor-style mansion in Bel Air.
1970s - MAM Records
Tom and Gordon Mills start a new record, agency and management company.
1969 - 71 - Trans-Atlantic Television
The hit TV show, 'This is Tom Jones' airs on both ABC-TV in America and ITV in the UK. At the time, Tom's contract is the biggest ever signed. The show would become a true classic with the coolest artists and designs of the 1970s.
1965 - 68 - Chart Success
Tom releases a string of hit singles and albums including 'What's New Pussycat', 'Thunderball', 'Green, Green Grass of Home', 'Help Yourself' and 'Delilah'.
1965 - Big in America
First appearance on the top-rated American TV programme 'The Ed Sullivan Show'.
1965 - Number 1
Despite the first single not making an impact on the charts, a second single, 'It’s Not Unusual' is released. The BBC refuses to play it, but offshore pirate station Radio Caroline picks it up. On March 1st the single reaches number one in the charts.
1964 - Snaped up!
Radio 1 DJ Jimmy Saville advises the band to make a demo disc. He takes this to Decca Records and a contract is signed.
1963 - A rocking start
Forms his own group, Tommy Scott and the Senators. Spotted by fellow Welshman and harmonica player Gordon Mills, who later becomes his manager.
