Tom to Perform at V Festival This Summer

V Festival 2012, sponsored by Virgin Media, is back for its seventeenth year and we are delighted to announce Tom to the line-up.

Taking place at the two festival sites in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire across the weekend of 18th and 19th August 2012, Tom will be sharing the stage with some other amazing acts such as, Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Tinie Tempah, Example, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, The Proclaimers, Noah and the Whale and The Stranglers.

Over the festival weekend there’ll also be sets from David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Nero, Keane, Madness, Friendly Fires, Happy Mondays, Professor Green, Emeli Sandé, Ben Howard, Noah & The Whale, The Temper Trap, LMFAO, Rizzle Kicks, Frank Turner, Labrinth, The Enemy, Maverick Sabre, Miles Kane, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Lissie, Dappy, Shed Seven, The Ting Tings, The Human League, Frank Ocean, Pixie Lott, The Stranglers, Inspiral Carpets, The Rifles, and DJ Fresh. Plus many more to be announced

The glamorous V Style camping will also see a return this year. V Style got a great reception last summer and will once again give festival fans the chance to get the best of both worlds – being able to dance the days away with their favourite artists before chilling-out, in luxury, in ready built Pod Pads, Cloud Yurts, Hearthworks Tipis and pop-up hotel rooms.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 2nd March at 10am with fans advised to visit, where all official outlets are detailed. V organisers again stress to fans that purchasing tickets from unofficial outlets could lead to disappointment.

  1. Cant wait for the UK performances this year, I hope we get back to the older sets I loved so much. As the world number one Tom analyst (hehe) you cant get much better than the Ponty Park gig but then the first of the ‘new band tour’ (wembley for me) was extremely good. I do rant on but the ‘locating the voice/rnb beat’ intro was just mega but then things move on. Hope to see you soon Tommy.

  2. FANTASTIC NEWS.. take it slow Tom then build up like a crescendo in Music to stay stable, well and happpy enjoying yourself amoung your countymen. I do hope your performance will be saved on DVD for us in the U.S.A. March is almost here.. dont care how much it cost.. your fans will never get enough of “the voice” and ” Sir Tom Jones” performing. Tennessee Ann
